Carlos Díez Fuertes
Carlos founded South Hub Investments after a full career in investment banking and capital markets. He started at Lehman Brothers in Boston and moved to HSBC James Capel as an equity trader, soon switching to sales, where he launched the pan-European equities business for Iberia.
In 2000 he joined UBS Investment Bank, where he led the pan-European sales team for Iberia and became Head of Equities and a board member for the region. He holds a B.S. in Finance from Boston College.
Pablo Díaz Megías
Pablo has held top leadership roles at UBS, S.G. Warburg and Banco Santander, with experience spanning investment banking, capital markets, advisory, research, asset management and wealth management.
As CEO, Chairman and Country Head of UBS Spain until 2022, he built the firm's wealth management business in the country from scratch and turned it into one of the sector's references. Today he also serves as a senior advisor to family offices and institutional investors. Economics at CUNEF, with a Master in Strategy and Leadership from IE University.
Miguel Medina Juanes
Miguel is a placement agent specialising in alternative assets, based in Madrid. He previously built a long career in capital markets at Citibank, originating and distributing investment and risk-management products for institutional and corporate clients.
At Citi he covered banks, asset managers, insurers, family offices and corporates in derivatives, fixed income and FX, building lasting relationships as a trusted advisor. He holds a Law degree from Universidad Complutense and a Master in Financial Markets from IEB.

Founded Hyde Park Investment after a career at Deutsche Bank (Frankfurt, Singapore and New York) and UBS in London, where he was an Executive Director responsible for distributing pan-European equities to German institutional investors. Master in Business Management from Ludwig-Maximilian University, Munich. FCA approved.
Guy Baxendale
With Hyde Park since its foundation in 2004. He leads the firm's product research and covers family offices and specialist asset managers in the UK, while serving as the group's Compliance Officer and MLRO. Previously at Financial Risk Management (fund of hedge funds). Masters from the University of Edinburgh. FCA approved.
Milya Vered Foulis
Experience on both the buy side and sell side: Latin American institutional markets at HSBC, Director at UBS London distributing equities to pan-European clients, and buy-side healthcare analyst. MA from Johns Hopkins and MSc from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. FCA approved.
Darren Abdilla
With Hyde Park since 2012, after a banking career in Malta, most recently in Analytics at HSBC Bank Malta. ACCA and CAIA candidate. From the Malta office he supports the group's regulated EU operations.
