Who we are
Raising capital is a strategic process, not just another service.
South Hub Investments was founded in Madrid in 2019 on a simple idea: specialist managers deserve the same level of representation in Iberia that they enjoy in their home markets.
We connect international managers with the professional investors of Spain, Portugal and Andorra — asset managers, pension funds, private banks, insurers and family offices — and take Iberian managers out to Europe through our alliance with Hyde Park Investment.
We operate as a Tied Agent of Ursus-3 Capital, A.V., regulated by the CNMV, and the Hyde Park group is authorised and regulated in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Working within a supervised framework is not a formality: it is part of how we understand this craft.

Trust is earned with rigour, and kept with judgement.
Demanding selection
Every manager goes through due diligence including on-site visits, service-provider verification and reference checks. We only represent what meets the standard our investors expect.
Strategic alignment
We only distribute funds whose vision we share, and never strategies that compete with each other. We act as long-term partners to managers, with transparency at all times.
The right language, the right moment
We speak each investor's language and know the investment cultures of every market. Selling well also means knowing when and how to tell each story.
Confidentiality
We protect managers' and investors' sensitive information with the utmost care. It is the basis of relationships that last decades.

Carlos Díez Fuertes
He began at Lehman Brothers in Boston and built his career at HSBC James Capel, where he launched the pan-European equities business for Iberia, and at UBS Investment Bank, where he was Head of Equities and a board member for the region. B.S. in Finance, Boston College.

Pablo Díaz Megías
CEO, Chairman and Country Head of UBS Spain until 2022, where he built from scratch one of the country's leading wealth management businesses. Previously at S.G. Warburg and Banco Santander. Economics at CUNEF, with a Master in Strategy and Leadership from IE University.
