Landseer Asset Management · London
An active global equity growth fund investing in companies using artificial intelligence to strengthen competitive advantage, improve business performance and create shareholder value. Managed through a high-conviction, bottom-up investment process, supported by the team’s proprietary AI research platform, Orbit.
A diversified portfolio seeking to capture the long-term growth opportunity created by the adoption and application of AI across companies, industries and geographies.
Why we represent this fund
AI adoption, not simply AI technology. The Fund looks beyond the companies developing AI infrastructure to identify businesses using AI to improve productivity, accelerate growth and strengthen their competitive position. This creates an opportunity set that extends well beyond the technology sector.
Proprietary AI-enhanced research. The investment team combines fundamental, bottom-up equity research with Orbit, its proprietary AI research platform. Orbit analyses large volumes of company information to help identify where AI adoption is becoming material to a company’s business and future prospects.
A concentrated, high-conviction portfolio. The portfolio typically comprises c. 35–40 holdings selected on individual merit. Each investment must satisfy the team’s defined investment pillars, creating ongoing competition for capital and a clear discipline around both buying and selling.
A genuinely global and diversified opportunity set. The Fund invests across sectors, regions and market capitalisations, seeking AI beneficiaries wherever they emerge. Its opportunity set is not confined to Silicon Valley or traditional technology companies, providing broader exposure to the economic benefits of AI adoption.
An experienced team with continuity since inception. The strategy has been managed by the same lead portfolio managers since its inception in 2017, providing continuity of investment philosophy and process across different market environments.
Principal risks
Capital at risk. The value of investments can fall as well as rise. Investors may not get back the amount originally invested and could lose some or all of their capital.
Equity market risk. The Fund invests in equities, whose values can fluctuate significantly in response to company-specific developments and broader economic, political and market conditions.
Currency risk. The Fund invests internationally. Changes in exchange rates may positively or negatively affect the value of investments and investor returns.
Emerging markets risk. The Fund may invest in emerging markets, where investments can experience greater volatility and may be more sensitive to political, economic and regulatory developments than those in developed markets.
Growth and valuation risk. The portfolio may have significant exposure to companies with higher expected rates of growth. Changes in interest rates, growth expectations or investor sentiment can lead to material changes in valuations and periods of heightened volatility.
