About MS+Partners
MS+PARTNERS (Mustard Seed + Partners) describes itself as an independent European thematic private equity firm investing in growth mid-market companies where sustainability drives productivity and resilience, combining early ecosystem access with institutional buyout discipline. The firm was founded on the conviction that the next generation of leaders will be built by companies that align long-term purpose with performance: in its view, businesses that embed sustainability become more productive, more resilient and better positioned for lasting growth.
It is led by its co-founders and Managing Partners Stanislas de Joussineau, Alex Pitt and Henry Wigan, and invests across three themes — Industrial Technology & Energy Transition, Circularity & Resource Efficiency, and Human Capital & Essential Services — backing founder-led businesses at their scaling inflection points. Beyond capital, it brings thematic expertise and active ownership, working with entrepreneurs on governance, international expansion and operational value creation. South Hub introduces MS+Partners’ impact private equity strategy to institutional and professional investors across Iberia within the regulatory framework of the CNMV in Spain and the CMVM in Portugal.

Why we represent this fund
Anchored by the European Investment Fund. The fund is anchored by the European Investment Fund (EIF) and backed by leading global institutions and prominent entrepreneurial families.
Founders from KKR, BlackRock, 3G, Mubadala and Goldman Sachs. Co-founded by the former head of KKR’s Global Impact Fund in Europe and two growth impact-investing pioneers with senior experience at BlackRock, 3G Capital, Mubadala and Goldman Sachs.
Proprietary access via a venture ecosystem. Early visibility into scaling platforms through the firm’s venture ecosystem, giving differentiated access to companies several years before traditional buyout processes, with sector-specialist sourcing versus generalist mid-market private equity.
Carried interest tied to impact KPIs. After defining an impact target for each individual investment, the fund’s carried interest is explicitly tied to how well the manager delivers on impact targets; carried interest is only fully paid out per investment when 100% of the impact KPIs are achieved.
Operational alpha, not financial engineering. Profitable, scalable, capital-efficient companies with resilient business models and disciplined leverage focused on downside protection; board-level engagement from day one, platform build-ups and international expansion, with a strategy that relies on operational alpha rather than financial engineering.
Principal risks
High degree of risk, volatility and illiquidity. The fund’s investments are characterised by a high degree of risk, volatility and illiquidity and may be subject to a heightened risk of loss; these investments may not be suitable for many investors.
Complete loss of investment. A prospective investor must be able to withstand a complete loss of his or her investment.
No assurance of objectives or return of capital. There can be no assurance that the fund will generate results comparable to those previously achieved by previous investment funds or achieve its stated investment objectives, or that investors will receive a return of their capital.
Forward-looking statements and target returns. All forward-looking statements, including the intended actions and performance objectives of the fund, are subject to known and unknown risks, factors and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially.
Unregulated vehicle for professional clients only. The fund is intended to be an unregulated investment vehicle which is not subject to the direct prudential supervision of any supervisory authority; the offering is prepared for professional clients only and is not intended for retail clients.
Marketing communication. Addressed exclusively to professional investors and eligible counterparties as defined in Directive 2014/65/EU (MiFID II); it is not intended for retail clients. This is not an offer, solicitation or recommendation, and no subscription documentation is made available through this website. Private market investments are illiquid and speculative: there is no right of redemption, capital is committed and drawn down over time, valuations are infrequent estimates, and investors may lose the entire amount invested. Returns are typically negative in the early years of a fund’s life. Information about prior vehicles, seed assets or the track record of individuals is not indicative of the results of this fund. Fees, including any additional layer of fees in fund-of-funds structures, reduce net returns. Full terms, risk factors, fees and conflicts of interest are set out in the fund’s legal documentation, which must be read before any investment decision. Marketing of this fund in Spain is subject to the applicable registration and notification requirements and availability may be restricted. Any reference to an investor, anchor investor or public institution does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee. Sustainability-related information is set out in the fund’s SFDR pre-contractual disclosures; an SFDR article classification is a disclosure regime, not a quality rating or a label. Tax treatment depends on each investor’s individual circumstances; this is not tax advice. South Hub Investments, S.L. is a tied agent of Ursus-3 Capital, A.V., S.A. (CNMV reg. no. 251), acting in its name and under its responsibility; no investment advice or discretionary portfolio management services are provided.
