Rathbone SICAV Global Opportunities Fund
Rathbones Asset Management · London
A stock-picking fund that invests in a small number of global stocks, searching developed countries for innovative and scalable businesses that are growing fast and shaking up their industries. Searching for industry champions, and overlooked and under-the-radar opportunities for growth.
UCITSSFDR Art. 840-60 holdingsAllfunds
Our speciality is spotting these businesses before they are household names.
Why we represent this fund
01A small, nimble team; one strategy. The lead fund manager believes that a small and nimble team that can make decisions quickly, rather than a committee approach, is optimal. This is the only strategy he manages, and the team will not change its investment process or style to follow the momentum of investor sentiment.
02Businesses with a star quality. To be successful, businesses have to offer something that others can’t match. They must be easy to understand, different to their competitors, durable to change and difficult to imitate, with a plan to grow rapidly without running out of money or overstretching their resources.
03A defensive bucket to reduce risk. To reduce risk, the fund holds a defensive bucket of companies with slow and steady growth that should be less sensitive to the economy.
04Built without reference to a benchmark. The sub-fund is actively managed at the investment manager’s discretion without reference to any benchmark; portfolio construction is not influenced by index weightings.
05A predominantly qualitative research process. Primary research and company contact are done internally, supported by a global network of external brokers and sell-side analysts. No quantitative screening is used to identify new ideas.
Principal risks
01Capital loss. This product does not include any protection from future market performance. It is not protected and you could lose some or all of your investment.
02Concentration and deviation from markets. The fund usually holds a small number of stocks, often concentrated in growth sectors, which means its performance can deviate significantly from the return of global markets.
03Growth-style risk. The focus on high-quality, long-duration growth stocks can be a risk during periods of value-factor outperformance.
04Currency risk. The portfolio maintains unhedged exposure to a number of overseas currencies such as the US dollar and euro; changes in rates of exchange between currencies may cause the value of investments to decrease or increase.
05Volatility and market risk. Adverse market conditions, the use of derivatives, exchange rates and counterparty failure may affect the risk of this product.

Capital is at risk: the value of investments may fall as well as rise, is not guaranteed, and you may get back less than you invested. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Any forward-looking statements reflect the manager’s opinion at the date of publication, are not guaranteed and may change. Costs and charges reduce returns and are set out in the KID and the prospectus, which together with the summary of investor rights are available from the management company and from us on request; read them before investing. Sustainability-related information is set out in the fund’s SFDR pre-contractual disclosures; an SFDR article classification is a disclosure regime, not a quality rating or a label. Rathbone SICAV Global Emerging Markets Equity Fund
Rathbones Asset Management · London
A global, core approach to emerging markets, offering a diversified risk-return approach against the benchmark; the objective of the fund is to achieve long-term capital growth. Fund inception: early 2026.
UCITSSFDR Art. 8Allfunds
There is no guarantee that this investment objective will be achieved over five years, or any other time period.
Why we represent this fund
01A core, all-weather emerging markets solution. A core equity strategy, unconstrained by style: a single, benchmark-aware solution for emerging markets covering all market caps, all markets and frontier-market exposure, with a risk-controlled approach diversified across all countries and sectors.
02A long-tenured investment team. Managed by a long-tenured investment team that has worked together in emerging markets, having managed long, long/short and cross-asset strategies. Their experience is invaluable given the nuances of the asset class.
03Two proprietary alpha drivers. Two proprietary alpha drivers using top-down and bottom-up methods, married together to create an alpha-repetitive equity strategy. The proprietary VMR (Value, Momentum, Risk) scorecard is an intra-asset-class indicator that aids timing, positioning, sizing and currency overlay.
04A style-agnostic approach. Investing in high-quality companies at a discount, incorporating growth, value and yield, with proprietary top-down models allowing for the consideration of macro factors in allocation decisions.
05Full ESG integration and engagement. Full ESG integration throughout the investment process, drawing on both proprietary internal and third-party research to identify risk and alpha opportunities, with corporate engagement to monitor and encourage improved sustainability practices.
Principal risks
01Capital loss. The value of investments and the income from them may go down as well as up and you may not get back your original investment.
02Emerging markets volatility and liquidity. Emerging markets are volatile and may suffer from liquidity problems.
03Currency risk. Changes in rates of exchange between currencies may cause the value of investments to decrease or increase.
04Derivatives. The sub-fund may use derivative financial instruments for the purposes of hedging, efficient portfolio management and for investment purposes; investors should note the specific risk warnings in relation to derivative instruments in the prospectus.
05Insufficient past performance data. There is insufficient data to provide investors with a useful indication of the fund’s past performance.

Rathbone SICAV Asia Equity Fund
Rathbones Asset Management · London
An index-agnostic approach to Asia, investing in high-quality global innovators. The sub-fund is actively managed at the fund manager’s discretion without reference to any benchmark and, as a result of the investment process, may be concentrated in 25 to 35 positions.
UCITSSFDR Art. 825-35 positionsAllfunds
An absolute-return mindset: risk is viewed as permanent loss of capital, with a long-term investment approach in quality growth businesses.
Why we represent this fund
01Benchmark agnostic, high active share. The sub-fund is actively managed without reference to any benchmark. As a result of the benchmark-agnostic approach the strategy tends to have a high active share; the manager has significant freedom to deviate from the index.
02A concentrated, high-conviction quality portfolio. Around 30 high-conviction holdings, with position size reflecting conviction and fair valuation incorporating a margin of safety. Companies are selected bottom-up for strong management teams, sound financial positions, good governance practices, a quality-growth and high-returns business model and constant innovation.
03Risk as permanent loss of capital. Risk is assessed as the potential for permanent loss of capital. Alongside the focus on capital preservation, the manager seeks to minimise the portfolio’s absolute volatility and drawdown potential, with a long-term horizon of five to seven years.
04Proprietary research, not reliant on the sell side. In-depth research at the industry, sector and company level, based on company engagement, site visits and primary data collection; sector materiality is assessed through a proprietary, customised business sustainability analysis rather than third-party ESG ratings, and governance structure is analysed in detail.
Principal risks
01Concentration risk. The fund invests in a small number of investments. This means that the performance of a single stock within the portfolio has a greater effect on the value of the fund.
02Emerging markets. Emerging markets are volatile and may suffer from liquidity problems. The legal, judicial and regulatory infrastructure is still developing and there is much legal uncertainty both for local market participants and their counterparties.
03Currency risk. Changes in the price of foreign currencies can result in gains or losses; changes in rates of exchange between currencies may cause the value of investments to decrease or increase.
04Liquidity risk. Some assets become hard to sell at their expected price, especially in times of market stress.
05Management risk. People make the investment decisions for the fund. If they make unfavourable decisions, you could lose money.
